Job Description

MCMP Logistics Inc. is looking for three truck drivers who can start as soon as possible.

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position

Employment Conditions: On Call, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Night

Work Setting: Remote Locations and Various Locations

Work Conditions: Attention to Detail,  handling heavy loads, Large Workload, Repetitive Tasks, Overtime Required,  physically demanding, Sitting, Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight and must have Valid Driver's licence.

Job Requirements: Must be a team player, organized, flexible, judgemental, having effective interpersonal skills,  must have excellent oral and written communication, and one who can be reliable

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check

Communication Systems Experience: Operate GPS

Transportation Experience: Long-haul

Documentation Knowledge: Accident or incident reports, Dangerous goods occurrence reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Bill of lading, Trans-border documentation, Driver logbook

Type of Trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer

Own tools/ equipment: Cellular Phone

Job Duties: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Perform preventive maintenance, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials: AZ Class Licence

Experience Required: Will Train

Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
