Two full-time, permanent Cooks are required by Kayden Restaurants Ltd. DBA Pho 68 at 7360 Edmonds St, Burnaby, BC V3N 1A8.
The salary range is $16.75-$18.00 p/h.
The successful applicant will be required to
- Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
Applicants should have:
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks
or
Completion of college or other program in cooking
or
At least three years of commercial cooking experience
Applicants must speak English.
Experience in Vietnamese cuisine is an asset. The Vietnamese language is also an asset as all staff and most clients and suppliers speak Vietnamese.
