Maxim Kitchen & Doors Inc. is looking for a Carpenter who can start as soon as possible

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position

Job Requirements: Ability to supervise staff of 1-2 people and in various areas of responsibility having efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent 
 Oral communication, and who is client focused, a team player, judgmental, accurate, dependable,  and the one who is reliable

Job Duties: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems,  Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers,  Estimate costs and materials, Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Experience Required: 1 to less than 7 months

Education required: Secondary School Graduation Certificate
