Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position
Salary: $ 24.25 CAD per hour for 37.5 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Job duties:
· Oversee and synchronize the cleaning task performed by cleaning staff.
· Check sites or facilities such as rooms, common areas including stairways and lounge areas for cleanliness.
· Schedule shifts, arrange for replacements in case of absence for the staff members
· Monitor and replenish required cleaning products along with other recommended additional services such as Painting, repair work or any kind of renovations and furnishing
· Recruit and train housekeepers on cleaning
· May participate in certain cleaning duties with the staff
· Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records when required.
· Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
Language: English
Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
