MAPLE STAR TRANSPORT LTD. is looking for the 3 positions of Long Haul Truck Driver for their location at 17 VIA ROMANO WAY, BRAMPTON, ON L6P 1K2

Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position

Salary: $ 26.50 CAD per hour for 37.5 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends

Job duties:

• Transporting all finished goods and materials by driving tractor-trailor, long combination vehicle & straight trucks primarily weighing 4500 Kg over long routes.
• Plan pre routes, en route and submit trip inspection report specifying Vehicle equipments and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes etc upon trip completion.
• Performing security checks on Cargo to ensure safety requirements and procedures are followed while transporting dangerous goods.
• Proper maintenance of log books.
• Capable of performing emergency Roadside repair when required.

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: No Experience

Class AZ License required
