Salary: $23/hour, 35 hours a week

Benefit: 4% vacation paid

Duties and responsibility:

·         Load, unload and transport construction materials

·         Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites

·         Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

·         Clean and pile salvaged materials

·         Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

·         Mix, pour and spread materials

·         Assist in demolishing buildings

·         Perform routine maintenance work

·         Clean up chemical spills and other containminants

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required;
• Experience in construction is an asset, training will be provided
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
• Able to stand for long periods of time;
• Attention to detail, able to multi-task and organized
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Have reliable way to commute to and from job site
• Take measurements and calculate size and amount of materials needed
• Selecting, measuring and marking materials for exterior doors and windowns, foundations, floors, wall and roofs
• Operate and maintain construction equipment, such as saws, drills, and nail guns
• Assist supervisor with other duties
