Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position
Salary: $24.00 per hour for 37.5 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Job duties:
· Transporting all finished goods and materials by driving tractor-trailor, long combination vehicle & straight trucks primarily weighing 4500 Kg over long routes.
· Plan pre routes, en route and submit trip inspection report specifying Vehicle equipments and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes etc upon trip completion.
· Performing security checks on Cargo to ensure safety requirements and procedures are followed while transporting dangerous goods.
· Proper maintenance of log books.
· Capable of performing emergency Roadside repair when required.
Language: English
Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
Experience: No Experience
Class AZ License required
