Term: Permanent

Working hours: 40.0 Hours/Week

Salary:  $16.0 hourly

Greenwater Fisherman's Cove Resort is located in Saskatchewan Provincial Park, Greenwater Lake.Since its establishment in 2015, our resort has become the most popular leisure centre in east Saskatchewan. Currently, we are aiming to provide exclusive experiences for our visitors with our inclusive business model. Our services include motel accommodation, unique cabin lodgings, and onsite restaurant and bar, and other services such as shopping and gas refueling.  Now we are looking for a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to supervise, direct and co-ordinate restaurants activities and staff to ensure smooth daily operation and high-quality food services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct restaurant's daily supervision and ensure high quality of the food and service provided to the guests  
  • Review feedbacks from guests and staff  to help optimize operation policies and procedures
  • Closely supervise visiting volume to co-ordinate and schedule kitchen and front-of-house staff appropriately
  • Set up workload, schedules, and procedures well in advance to ensure daily smooth operation
  • Oversee the designing and refining of the regular and special menus provided to guests
  • Timely check budget and cost for food materials, and ensure appropriate ingredients stock level
  • Record group guests' needs or special requests and prepare order summaries for the kitchen
  • Participate in hiring,interviewing, and training new staff to properly perform job duties
  • Conduct timely onsite inspection and direct the staff to fully follow hygiene and safety regulations
  • Manage the recording system and ensure complete records of stock, wastage, sales, and all other relevant expenses   

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience required
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
