Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position
Salary: $ 20.75 per hour for 37.5 to 44 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends
Job duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant or cafeteria for providing food and beverage service
- Design attractive menus and services to be offered as well as implement related operational procedures
- Oversee hiring and training of new staff
- Setup work schedules for staff and monitor their performance
- Keep updated record of daily restaurant financials, control inventory and modify procedures as needed
- Respond efficiently to inquires or complaints of customers & Staff and resolve them
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the restaurant
- Negotiate arrangements with order and suppliers for the preparation of food and beverages in the restaurant

Education: College/CEGEP
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
