Gonni Holding is the industry leader in providing freight transportation throughout North America. We need four (4) Truck Driver. As long-haul truck driver, you will be required to operate a tractor-trailer and haul commercial goods over long distances. You will be required to depart for destinations thousands of kilometers away from home. You will be required to cross-interprovincial boundaries and travel over international routes across North America. You will be required to be away home for several days per week or weeks at a time.
$25.00 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week
All wages or conditions stated or not, shall be considered in accordance with al Provincial and Federal standards.

Experience and Asset
Communication Systems Experience:
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Weight Handling:
Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Job Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance; Perform emergency roadside repairs; Pay and receive payment for goods; Perform Brake Adjustment; Load and unload goods; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport good and materials; Tarping and ensuring safety of cargo; Drive as part of two-person team or convoy; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Security and Safety:
Driver's validity check; Driving record check (abstract); Drug test; Criminal record check
Transportation / Travel Information
Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight; Valid driver's license; Drive a manual transmission vehicle
