Specific Skills

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders,
  • Bake mixed dough and batters,
  • Draw up production schedules,
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards,
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas,
  • Operate machinery,
  • Operate mixers, proofers, sheeters, ovens, packaging machine in accordance with SOP;
  • Observe equipment settings and make adjustments as required;
  • Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to formulas;
  • Make dough designated by  production schedule  to fill customer’s orders;
  • Inspect finished products by sight and touch to ensure they meet quality requirement;
  • Ensure products are packed and coded correctly;
  • Follow sanitation and housekeeping procedures for mixing and oven areas;
  • Follow production, quality and HACCP procedures and maintain required documents;
  • Follow GMPs and safe work practices;
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Additional Skills: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Organize and maintain inventory
