The salary range is $18.50 - $19.50 per hour.
Our company is a custom Vancouver sewing shop, supplying technical fabrics for the world’s cinematography, VFX, and camera departments.
We specialize in industrial heavy duty sewing of large scale specialty tarpaulins
Our product lines include industrially sewn heavy weight sandbags
The main duties will be:
· Final assembler; manufacturing sandbags. Fill, carry, sew & stack 16lb to 30lb sandbags throughout shift.
· Operate a heavy duty walking foot industrial sewing machine throughout shift.
· Operating serging machines to sew and overcast edges of fabric simultaneously. Must be able to rethread a 5 thread serger in a reasonable amount of time.
